1852 Chromo-Lith, cabinet in oak with brass panels designed by Pugin and executed by Crace of London, with the notation M. Digby Wyatt, Dirext. Chromolithography is a color printing method utilizing chemicals to make multi-color prints, which eventually replaced hand-coloring. Depending on the number of colors used, a chromolithograph could take months to produce and required significant skill. This beautiful framed piece measures 21” high by 24” wide.
