Litho Engraving is a technically complex printing process that uses chemical processes to create an image. Lithographer Artist Charles Beecher Bunnell was known for his late 19th to early 20th century works of harbor and waterway scenes such as this one and the “Scene on the Erie Canal. The historic New York City harbor islands have held military and social significance in American history from the mid-1600s. They offer spectacular views of the New York City skyline as well as numerous national landmarks. This 1899 signed piece is in excellent condition. Framed measurements: 28w x 24h.
